On September 24, 2026, the Institute for Agriculture and Artificial Intelligence (IAAI) brought together four grantee research teams to explore what it actually takes to make an AI recommendation worth acting on. Rather than focusing on tools in the field, this session went one layer deeper — into the research decisions that determine whether an AI advisory system is trustworthy before it ever reaches a farmer.
